LATE-START MONDAY HOURS = 9:55-3:33
Starting on Monday, August 22nd, and every Monday thereafter, Roosevelt will have LATE-START MONDAYS. School hours will be 9:55-3:33. |
| CONGRATULATIONS! Roosevelt has been designated as a National Avid Demonstration School again. Out of about 4500 schools nationwide, only 122 schools were selected. This is quite an honor and our AVID site team is to be commended for their hard work and efforts. Many of our teachers use AVID method/strategies in their classrooms so more students can benefit from the techniques taught in AVID classes. Special congratulations go to Ms. Monique Seabrook, our AVID coordinator. Her hard work has paid off. |

CLASS DISRUPTIONS/CLASSROOM DELIVERIES
In an effort to minimize class disruptions, items forgotten at home and dropped off at the main office will NOT be delivered into the classroom. Students will be notified they have items at the main office, but will need to come pick them up at lunch or in between class periods. Please help your child ensure he/she comes to school prepared each day. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. |

Due to the high volume of student absences and per our homework policy, BEFORE requesting homework, please check the homework hotline, teacher website or homework buddy. You may request homework on the 3rd day of a child's absence, if the 3rd day doesn't fall on a Friday. Please allow 24 hours for homework to be gathered. Thank you for your cooperation. |
