announcements may run for a few days without changes because
there are no new announcements to update]

8th grade students, who would like
to be considered to speak @ promotion, must turn in their
speeches to their Language Arts teacher this week. Final
nominations are due Tuesday, may 29th. The theme
is “Expect the Unexpected.”

As of today there will be no more IOU’s in
the cafeteria for lunch or breakfast. Pay what you owe now and
stay paid up. Thank you.

The last day to check out a library book is
today- Monday, May 21st. All library books are due
on Thursday, May 24th. Textbook collection begins
this week. Check with your Math/Science teacher to see when
you should bring in your textbooks from home. If you are
charged for any damages, those fines will need to be paid in
cash- no checks accepted for the rest of the year.
- If you owe…
you don’t go. If you owe any money to the library or the
cafeteria at the end of the school year you do not get to
participate in the end of the year activities. Please pay off
what you owe before Mrs. Clem starts calling people in the
office next week.

grade trip tomorrow, Tuesday, May 22nd.
- Attention 8th
graders: Important American’s Day this Wednesday, May 23rd
during 7th and 8th period.
- Attention 7th
graders: The Renaissance Faire this Thursday, May 24th
from 4-6 p.m.
- Attention 6th graders: Open
House is also this Thursday, May 24th @ 5:30 p.m.
- 4-day weekend coming up
next week! School closed this Friday and Memorial Day holiday
next Monday, May 28th.
- Reward Trips coming up
for 7th and 8th graders! Don’t get left
behind! Turn in your money ASAP to Mrs. Clem. The deadline
to turn in your money is on Thursday, May 24th.
