PALOMAR MUSIC PROGRAM

Palomar High School has a music class, which meets every Tuesday & Wednesday from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. We are always looking for singers, guitarists,  pianists and drummers.  If you are interested in learning to play an instrument, see Mr. Simon in room 15 to set up a time to learn the instrument.  (You don’t need to own an instrument to participate.)  If you just want to sing, see Mr. Simon and you can try out a few songs and see how well you do.

 If you missed the introduction classes at the beginning of the year, you may still come see Mr. Simon after school and practice the beginning chords any day except Fridays at 12:30 or 1:30 p.m.  Each of these additional days will be added towards credits in Music. (Every 12 hours = 1 credit.)

 Once you reach the level where you can change from one chord to another at the correct speed, you may perform with the music class at the various engagements we get each year.  These are some of our venues:
