Homework Help

Dear Mission Meadows Families,

I want to thank all the families who came out to support Family Math Night. I would call this year a work in progress. I heard many parents’ feedback that they wanted more time for parents and students to play games together. I am glad that our district expert was able to meet all of you. She said that out of all the Family Math Nights she has done at other elementary schools, ours had the best turn out of parents and teachers. I want to thank all of the parents and PTA for helping me get our kids together to celebrate, embrace and have fun playing math. Our teaching in the next 7 years is going to be geared toward turning math into 21st century learning for our kids as we prepare them to be academically fit to succeed in college and life. I need parents to help be cheerleaders and celebrators of math. Leave all your math fears and anxiety behind because we are going to change the face of math for our kids and help make it fun and exciting.

I’m so proud of all of you because your kids tell me you read with them at night. I’m honored to work with parents who remind me how to be a better mom myself. I have never seen a more exquisite group of dedicated and passionate parents. It is because of you that our school culture is so amazing. I truly believe in the work we are doing and need you to stay involved and remember that it is an investment!

I hear, honor and act on every piece of advice or feedback I collect from parents at Mission Meadows. I’m dedicated to the continuous improvement of our school. Problems will not exist with our swift problem solving and communication, so please know that anything you tell me will be taken seriously and that I greatly respect all of you for remaining advocates for your children in a time when education cuts are so deep. With all of us working together, the kids never need to know about these budget cuts or tough times, and all they will remember about school is that it is indeed like Disneyland. It is their favorite place to go other than home. Please help me continue to build an educational experience that will be a footprint on the hearts of our children.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for teaching me and our staff how to be better for the kids. I thank you for your continuous and endless dedication and I promise you that I will devote 200% of myself to doing the same when your kids are in our care.

Sincerely
Mrs. Jenifer A. Golden
