2005-2008 Board Goals 

 

  1. All English Language Learners will grow one level per year on the California English Language Development Test (CELDT).
  2. All students with three years or more of continuous District enrollment will perform at or above grade level in reading and writing.
  3. Average daily student attendance in the District will increase to 98%.
  4. Develop and implement a District-wide homework policy based upon a comprehensive review of current District homework practices.
  5. Develop a District-wide intervention plan to reduce discipline referrals, suspensions, expulsions, and dropouts and to increase the number of students meeting District graduation requirements.
  6. Develop a comprehensive plan for strengthening and expanding vocational/career preparation courses of study.
