Administrative Hearings/Expulsions

The Vista Unified School District utilizes an Administrative Hearing Panel to hear cases recommended for expulsion. We are very proud of the fact that we are able to use staff who know the operation of the Vista Unified School District as well as the community. The Director of Student Support Services oversees the Administrative Hearing Panel and serves as Chairperson. The Administrative Hearing Panel hears all discipline cases forwarded to the district, pending possible expulsion from school, and recommends to the Board of Trustees the appropriate action for disposition of each case.
